Taylor Freelance was started almost 25 years ago in the garage of Robin Taylor. Originally, Robin wanted some parts for the “new” Glocks on the market and thought there could be a market for them.
The first product was the Seattle Slug, a weight that went into the grip of the Glock. This made the Glock a lot more balanced and Robin successfully sold this product to competition shooters and law enforcement.
Taylor Freelance has always been a web store. Starting with a small ecommerce site with a few parts on a Microsoft store (Which no longer exists). Our second online store lasted for almost 15 years without any changes!
In 2015, Robin took the leap and went full-time with Taylor Freelance. We now have 8 staff, and a web store with almost 300 sku’s.
Over the years, Taylor Freelance has maintained exacting standards for the parts we make. Parts have to be accurately made, strong and unbreakable with a lifetime warranty.
Taylor Freelance also believes in supporting local and regional businesses as much as possible. We also focus on supporting the shooting sports and youth shooting programs.
