It’s finally here! Our Canik Mete/Rival magwell is available for pre-order.
TF’s hot new magwell for the Canik Mete and Canik Rival brings the comfort, strength, and durability you expect from Taylor Freelance – with sharp-looking design! Deeper top-to-bottom and longer front-to-back than the factory Canik magwell, our magwell offers significantly more gripping surface and a much larger “target” to load into.
In the back, to get a larger feed area we replaced the little screw that secures the factory magwell with our “Overlock” system. The Overlock uses a relatively large set screw that’s pre-installed in the backstrap. (Can’t lose it! Hard to break!) The set screw pushes backward and up against the top of the magwell, tensioning everything. It comes off and on easily — but you will need a TF backstrap to mount this part.
We will have a full range of colors available. Shiny aluminum parts will be available in a few days, gold & Cerakote colors in the next couple weeks. Black and other anodized colors will be available in approximately a month. You can pre-order your part and get in on the fist batch using the link below!
